The last time I griped about a warm Autumn was November 2020. I sincerely hope the high temperatures, like last year, herald a hard winter packed with snow

Maybe I would finally catch up on things rather than stare at YouTube all damn day.

🗹 Clean kitchen (was half-assed clean this morning)

☐ Sit down with Jeff so he can explain the changes to my goblin deck

☐ Review Stranger Things Season 4

☐ Cut and trim grass in back yard

☐ Call landscaper to get estimate for removing trees growing between house and sidewalk

 It's not that I don't want to do all these things. I feel too drained to focus on most of them. I'm in too much pain to retain anything as well.

We used the living room after mom went to bed last night. It was absolutely delightful. Part of me could see how lovely the house would be with our things in it. Part of me said, "Maybe we could stay here and build a bathroom and bedroom where the deck and garden is now?" And part of me was adamant that this house has too many issues to fix; it's a money pit.
